Welcome to Fuse \u2013 Your Festival Experience! Fuse is not just an event; it\u2019s a vibrant music and arts festival committed to inclusivity and accessibility for all. Immerse yourself in the best of live music, captivating performances,\n accessible activities, and arts \u2013 all crafted with you in mind.<\/p>\n

As a not-for-profit festival, Fuse has been a proud initiative of Lichfield Arts since its inception in 2001. What began as a dream to provide free, live music and activities for all has blossomed into a beloved summer tradition\n that unites our community, supports the creative sector, provides opportunity for local businesses in the event industry, and generates income for the local economy.<\/p>\n

Operated primarily by volunteers, Fuse has evolved into one of the largest events of its type in Staffordshire and the West Midlands with an average footfall of over 15,000.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

We\u2019re proud to say that Fuse Festival remains free entry in 2024. In a time when many festivals are succumbing to rising costs and increasing their ticket pricing, we are also feeling the heat. Our fixed costs have increased\n by 44% since 2019, but with the average festival ticket price now at \u00a3165, a price few can afford, we are working harder than ever to ensure this celebration of community, shared joy and love of live music and quality arts\n remains free, inclusive and accessible.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019 do it without the support of generous sponsors, funders and through donations from supporters like you! Your support is vital! You can join us in making a positive difference by making a donation if you are able when\n you book your tickets, donating on site during the weekend, or by buying a drink or two from our Fuse Festival bar!<\/p>\n

Here is a handy list of the most commonly asked questions:<\/p>\n

What are Fuse opening times?<\/strong> Friday: 7pm to 10pm – Saturday: 12pm to 10pm – Sunday: 11am to 6pm<\/p>\n

Is camping available at Fuse? <\/strong>Unfortunately camping facilities for the public are not available at Fuse: overnight camping will only be available to stall holders and security staff.<\/span><\/p>\n

Can I reuse my previous Fuse Ecocup?<\/strong> Of course! We would love to see them being used again. We do have a new version this year at a cost of \u00a31 that you can reuse throughout the festival and then take home with you \u2013 and of course bring back to Fuse next year. Can I bring my own food and drink? <\/strong>You are more than welcome to bring your own food and soft drinks to Fuse (no glass bottles please). We have our own bar for the sale of alcohol \u2013 we can\u2019t allow alcohol to be brought on site due to licensing constraints. In any case, to keep Fuse free and sustainable all revenue raised at the bar goes straight back into covering the festival costs \u2013 without our bar revenue Fuse simply would not happen!<\/span><\/p>\n

Is there any parking at Fuse?<\/strong> There will be no parking on site but car parks are available across the city in particular Friary Car Park, WS13 6QE is a multi-story car park within a short walking distance, details including details of disability parking can be found here \u2013 <\/span>\n https:\/\/www.lichfielddc.gov.uk\/homepage\/4\/lichfield-city-car-park-map?searchDirectoryId=3&postcode=WS136YY&submit=Search<\/u>\n <\/p>\n

Can I bring my dog to Fuse?<\/strong> We know your dogs are part of the family so well behaved dogs are welcome to Fuse. Dogs must always be kept under strict control and on short leads. Always clean up after your pets. Free poop bags are available from the stewards and there will be water bowls on the site. Owners will be responsible for any damage caused by their pets. If your pet does not have a friendly temperament, please don\u2019t bring it!<\/span><\/p>\n

Can I use a drone?<\/strong> No. Lichfield District Council prohibits the use of drones in its parks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Will there by recycling at Fuse?<\/strong> We aim to cut down on waste at Fuse and would appreciate festival goers taking their own rubbish back home with them. There will be black bins around the site which will be used for all waste \u2013 our skip provider will sort the recyclables from it. We have asked our food traders to be mindful of their plastics use and hope that this can be kept to a minimum.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do I get to Fuse? <\/strong>If you are local to Fuse and able, we\u2019d love you to consider walking to help us limit our carbon footprint. For those of you who live further afield, there are\n lots of other easy options.<\/p>\n

By Bus: Lichfield Bus station is a short walk away from Beacon Park. Regular bus services run to and from Burton, Tamworth, Stafford and Cannock.<\/p>\n

By Rail: Lichfield City Train Station is just a short walk away from Beacon Park and is extremely well connected. There are regular services from West Midlands Railway running across the West Midlands including from Birmingham\n New Street and Avanti West Coast connect Lichfield to London, Manchester and Liverpool. Shakespeare in the Park (SITP)<\/strong> is a Lichfield-based, annual, community theatre spectacular and highlight of the local cultural calendar.<\/p>\n
